In this look I am wearing my go to Summer maxi skirt- its perfect for those hot days when you need your clothes to be light and effortless. I have paired  this skirt with a crop top before and it worked just as well.

This dress is perfection. When I saw it I had to have it. I panicked a little when I realized that it is backless. Backless is cute, but lets be honest its not practical. I was concerned about support for the girls, I decided to buy the dress and deal with the back issues later - not an advisable shopping strategy by the way. I really didn't want my bra showing at the back, so I had the idea to wear a backless one piece bikini underneath. Bikini support is not great but it had to do.

Happy Spring!

We are finally getting warm weather in Jo'burg. I hope its here to stay. 

I wore this wonderfully printed mini dress on Saturday for a picnic- not the best choice because it was so hard to sit down without flashing everyone. But on the bright side I looked ready for Summer in the bright orange print.

This post is really just about these boots. They are from Aldo, are made from patent leather, have a chunky heel , come in burgundy and black and are the perfect bootie. I'm in love. They were the perfect birthday gift from my lovely fiance.
