Daytime Bralet.

The nice thing about the bralet is that you can wear it as an out-a garment..showing off a little bit of skin without having the perfect abs. Its the perfect summer piece..I'm definitely considering wearing it as beach wear.  The bralet also known as the Bratop is a reinterpretation of the corset without the uncomfortable wires.

I think the perfect way to wear the bralet is with a high waisted bikini bottom at the beach. The Bratop is also gorgeous in a floral print or a neon color depending on which trend you want to wear. I am personally going to search for one in a colorful print pattern.

COVER STAR B ON ELLE SA

You may not think it, but this is big. Bigger than getting a reality tv show deal.

I am talking about Bonang on the cover of ELLE SA.  When I first saw the cover it didn't click immediately how rare it is for local starts to be on the cover of Elle..Its especially rare for a black local star. 

The last copy of Elle SA I have with a black woman on the cover had international supermodel Alek Wek.. 

So well done Elle, and I'm certain the sales numbers won't drop.. a popular excuse used by  some international mags for not putting black stars on their covers.

And bravo B..not my favourite photo of her but she is donning Louis Vuitton head to toe..making her the envy of every girl.

Girly Pink

I went for a very pink outit today; pink skirt, pink top and pink shoes. This look is not typically what I would wear at all. It's too pink! I'll admit I was trying to follow the neon trend..and the layering of the same color.
I do wear pink usuallu..just in smaller doses...which is what I'll stick to in the future.
I have worn this neon striped tank top with a cream full skirt..

Office Chic..

I felt like putting a little color and drama to my at the office look. I tried not to go too far.

I try to have a little fun when dressing up for the office...This blue blazer is the perfect way to do just that. The bright blue color is so much fun and the I just can't have enough of the peplum cut. The jacket is also very light and therefore perfect for summer. I paired the jacket with my favorite nine west blue heels..

I bought this jacket at a thrift store for R200, I was happy for days after this purchase. I completed the look with this lovely beaded neckpiece from Lovisa.

Beaded bliss

I love colour, bright beautiful and oh so summer-ry pop your eyes out colour!
The focus of this look is definitely the bright Zara neckpiece...I knew immediately I saw it that I had to have it. It has the perfect mixture of yellow and turquoise beads.

I didn't want to wear the beads with a dark top so I wore an orange vest which goes great with beads. The black skirt is a tulip shaped skirt, that gives the appropriate amount of added hips. This skirt is from a Marion and Lindie collection and is one of my best buys.

This stunning yellow dress with a twist interpretation of the peplum is by Thula Sindi, one of my favorite designers.

This dress is perfect for the office...its perfectly fitting due to its stretchy fabric and it is thee power dress. 

The bright yellow color immediately improves my mood.

I wore this dress with nude Guess sling backs; it would also look great with black court shoes. 

If you are not an office girl, you can wear this for cocktails with strappy sandals.
